BAL match ratings, how on earth are they worked out?

first season, my "teeside" squad played man utd, i have just begun getting a regular first team place

i am a striker, tall strong slow target man

liverpool at home, i smash a header in from a corner, and 5 mins later smack one home from the edge of the area after a lowely chipped through ball from downing

over the course of the game (15 mins, top player) i got 6 out of 7 shots on target, 21 out of 24 passes completed, 4 interceptions, i played great if i do say so myself, and we won comfortably 3-1

my rating --------------- 6.0

very next game, chelsea home in the cup

i had a bit of a shocker, 1 out of 4 shots on target, 3 out of 9 passes complete, yellow carded. we lost that game 2-0

my rating --------------- 6.0

i have many instances of having a good game or bad game and getting what seem to be quite random game ratings, i have checked to see if its based on tough games or away game etc, but i dont think so.

the rating system has always been pretty rubbish in pes but it never really mattered until the new BAL mode, i hope they sort it out, or perhaps its just me being stupid, who knows

maybe they have made it so no matter how well you play early on it does not give you high ratings, to make it harder to get called up by england or receive a offer from the big clubs

any help much appreciated, would love to understand it better

cheers guys

It depends on what player you are. For a forward, plenty of passing and shooting. Take at least 5 shots and try and get them on target. Assists will boost your rating but offsides and fouls really take away from your rating. The positioning diagram is important because your judged on where you are on the field and how much you cover, etc. Interceptions are also highly valued.

cheers for the help guys, but i know what i have to do as is my posistion on the field

as you can see from the examples. surely example one would have a higher rating than 2, i am a striker. because a) i scored two goals, b) i had more shots on target with more accuracy than example 2, c) i intercepted more, d) i passed more and more accurately.

in both games i played the same posistion and pretty much played the same way, so the standard explanation of how to get a good ratings is wrong or is missing large parts, also in the first game i had more touches, more time dribbled etc, is it just me that is thinking this? if so i will just shush lol
