Hello All,
When playng BAL, do you feel you are playing for ursrelf to get high ratings , better stats and this will eventually leads to better club offers, or you feel loyal to your club , playing to its best interst, and you may feel sad if you lose a match in the last seconds and so on

I'd have to say a little bit of both, but mostly for the character.

When I'm on field I play to win. I go after the ball, press the opponent and don't think about the ratings. Usually this gets me ratings of 6.0 and 6.5. If we score, I'm genuinely happy. If opponent scores when I'm on the field I feel a sting. "Could I've done more?"

When I'm off the field, I generally don't feel anything for the team. I'm currently playing for a crappy enough team to expect them to lose against anyone. If I'm not playing, the result has no meaning to me. Of course I get a bit riled up if (when) the CPU manages to throw away the 1-0 lead I worked hard for, but that's about it.

As for the loyalty part... When I started my career, I had to claw my way to the bench and finally became a starting XI man during my first season. I stayed in my club for the second season and played 60 mins regularly. On Christmas break I transferred to another, just slightly better team... And went back to the reserve squad. This put me off of any transfers until I'm good enough for instant access to at least A-team in training matches.

Well the first 2 season it was all me and id try to score at every given chance
but 2 season on I've become mature enough and play for the team and was awarded with an International Call up too

I've created Adolf Hitler (plays on the right) as my Legend, and at the end of my
2nd full season I was called up to the German National team to play in the World Cup!
I very much play for the team. I think its more fun to be involved in build ups and playing the game properly. What is the point in Konami trying to make realistic football simulations if you are going to play fantasy football?!
