Become a Legend Strength and Special Abilities Charts

Thanks to shinjiono and noncasus for finding these... I just want to make it a topic so its easy to find, as allot of people will find this helpful :)

Thanks to a guy named "Benotti" on a dutch forum he has put a list for "Bal" where all the points is assign to after a (training) match.

In the menu 'strengthen', you will find 6 categories, which you can assign 0 to 6 blocks. One plus sign in the overview means one training block, 2 plus sign means for each training block you will gain 2 points (if one of your category has the full maximum blocks (6) the attribute will have 12 points each match). Next to this you will have match experience points as well. As you can see for the category Technique (kicking) will have the most advantage and Stamina very less. Finally this depends also on your position which you have chosen.

Thank you very much, this is extremely useful, as a matter of fact, it should be a sticky.

however one note, i am season 3 into BAL and i realize i am not getting full 12 points anymore, i am getting 9 instead for full 6 bar. just a note, dont you have that as well?

check if you havent used some points because you may have taken some of say balance and forgot to put them onto another skill on strengthen

actually i checked, i am not sure why i am only getting 9, maybe that particular skill tree is out of balance with others or something? i dont know.

So how do you get these abilities, you need to have high stats (roughly what?) in those specific areas and just perform the ability you want lots?

Well I havent gained any yet, and my passing etc is in the early 70's stats so I would assume it would be 80+ before you can earn them.

Just a Suggestion

actually i checked, i am not sure why i am only getting 9, maybe that particular skill tree is out of balance with others or something? i dont know.

If you notice in the Above table, to get 12 Points in say...

'Short Pass Speed'

You get some points from Technique (Kicking) and some from Power..

Therefor you would need 6 Blocks on both of them to get 12points on Short Pass Speed.

Could it be that you have the wrong combination,

Ie. 6 on one that you need, and 3 on another that you need, giving you 9 Points for the stat which you want 12 for?

Hope this helps..

Ok, I'm trying to understand this before I get the game this weeks for PS2, so that I can (attempt to) get my BAL off to as good a start as possible. But it's possible I've got completely the wrong end of the stick, so help me out if I do.

The way I am understanding this, is that you have six areas you can assign points to:
Technique (kicking)
Technique (dribbling)
Balance
Power
Speed
Stamina

You start (by default) with 2 'strengthening points' in each. So that's 12 strengthening points in total, which can be distributed as you wish, such as 66000, 04431, 222222 etc.

Each strengthening point gives one point increase to a stat it has one (+) with, and two point increase to a stat it has two (++) with.

Am I right so far? Stop me if I'm not.

Going by this table, putting one strengthening point into, say, power, gives, in total 7 point increases across 5 stats, whereas technique (kicking) gives 15 point increases across 9 stats.

So, assuming all stats are of equal value to you, by putting more strengthening points into technique (kicking), you gain more benefit in terms of stat increases, than you would if you put that same strengthening point into power.

If I'm right, the VALUE of each training area, per strengthening point, looks like this:
Technique (kicking) - 15
Technique (dribbling) - 5
Balance - 8
Power - 7
Speed - 6
Stamina - 3

Would it be right then, to strengthen areas like technique (kicking) more, and stamina less? Of course I know that some stamina strengthening is necessary, but once Stamina is into the 70's, you might prefer to shift emphasis into technique (kicking) so as to get 9 stats (Attack, Short Pass Accuracy, Short Pass Speed, Long Pass Accuracy, Shot Accuracy, Shot Technique, Free Kick Accuracy, Swerve and Technique) up into the high 80's and low 90's rather than just 2 stats (Stamina and Response) up above 80.

I am not pretending to have the answers - I haven't even played the game yet! Simply analysing this information.

I just got my first special skill, "playmaker" with my legend. Hes only got 75 short/long passing so thats all the stats I think you require for some of the basic ones.

Yup you pretty much have it... It will all make sense once you get the game :)
