Hi, I'm a FIFA noob and I'm thinking of making the move to PES, I tried the demo and I have a few questions. Can I change team names? ie north london to Arsenal. Are there any Nike footballs or is it just the PES one? What does the Arsenal logo look like? This is all on Xbox 360, no mods. I like this game in a way since FIFA is really weird now and gameplay on PES is miles ahead but I want the game to be as authentic as possible and I think this is where PES fails. Apart from Champions League, I want that so bad :laugh:

Yes you can, there is an in-game editor that allow you to change just about anything in the game, except for licensed team names.

There are external editors available that allow you to change everything really quickly, including licensed team names.

There are files ready to be downloaded that has edited everything for you, including Bundesliga, authentic match outfits and everything you didn't even knew you needed.

Yeah, you don't need to mod the XBox, just download an option file and it'll have everything you want - proper team names, authentic kits, etc. And yeah, the game already includes the current Nike ball (and the yellow version) as well as a fair few others.

Be aware that online sucks sooooo bad! So keep your copy of FIFA for online at least

Personally, I love the game play in PES 2011, but it's up to you to play a bunch to see if the game play suits you-good luck!

Great but then how exactly do I go about adding these files if I can't mod my Xbox? Can I import it via USB or something?

Yep - normally when looking at the option file an instruction will be included.

Online is fine.... it almost never lags on me, no more than FIFA ever did.

The AI scripting is a little obvious on some occasions, meaning you can only play as good as your players will allow, resulting in mis-placed passes, poor shooting, defenders not being interseted in the ball!!!

I am warming to this handicapping though, it does quite well represent those matches where a team simply doesn't turn up! apart from the obvious frustrations of "why is it happening to me?!" It's something extra to fight with.

I'm sure you will enjoy PES after devorcing EA

Hi, I've got a couple of questions for the xbox 360:

1. Can you get in trouble for downloading option files to your harddrive? Just want to make sure this isn't game saving which could result in getting banned my M$.

2. Can you download the patch for your own profile, or how does it work? Sorry, I'm a bit of a noob in this area, I assume all saved data is linked to a profile so not sure if I could download an option file and use it with my main gamertag.
