What do you think the best game ever is? I would say Final Fantasy 8. Though of course Pro Evo is pretty damn cool.

the best footie game is we6fe but i'd say MGS2 is the most legitimate best game. if that makes sense.

I wasn't keen on MGS2. The best game ever.....hmm i dunno, probably GTA3 when it first came out. That game was amazing when it was first released as there hadn't been a game anywhere near that standard before. Thats was a game you could spend weeks at a time playing after you had completed all the missions.

Apart from the mighty PES2, GTA: Vice City has got to be my favourite. I also think that GoldenEye for the N64 is one of the best games ever made. The multiplayer is brill!

Rebus, have you tried the newer version of Defender for PS2?
It looks quite good.

If the best game comes down to which game you play the most, it would have to be PES and PES2 for me.
SWOS for the Amiga was amazing for ages though.
Streetfighter is always good too.

i do like SOCOM the online one and im addicted to the demo of it. its like mgs2 with real people.

Did anyone ever play Gauntlet for the Commodore 64? I used to love that game, then one day the tape vanisshed and i could never find another copy of it.:(

bluescouse, you can download amgia games off the internet, i came across a web page on the net it was an c64 emulater. type it in google and see what comes up.

Mind you i guess Space Invaders would have to be the best because it was the origional game and probably influenced all the others in some way.

final fantasy 8 and metal gear solid 2 are crap compared to ff7 and mgs.... best games ever is final fantasy 7 and then not so closely following (since ff7 is so far ahead) is a patched version of we6fe :)

pong is always refered to as the first.... so i assume it is. space invaders probably came quite some time after because its more complex isnt it....
