being new to PES what patch has the most created faces for real players, or which patch is best overall?

Sammy_K_84's OF, because he does not replace the Dutch league with the German league. The Dutch league is perfect for starting a Become A Legend career.
And he has added 18 championship teams so you can get an English Division 2 in Master League. Perfect when you play a premier league ML.

Sammy_K_84's OF is not using kitserver, but I have "stolen" the best kits from SM_patch and SMoKE patch and implented into Sammy's OF along with the sweat patch and a few faces. The result is perfect, but you do need a small amount of modding skills in order to do it.
