Bestest ever? Gullit and Cruyff are best based on stats.

Owen and Ronaldo are best from current players.
Babangida is the fastest.
And so on...

Sure, but he can't play Gullit in goal or Cruyff in defence so it should be based on position.

If you don't count the classic teams, Batistuta in ISS pro evolution... Before they even tried to put good names in, there was a german player very good...

yeah, i guess it should be based on position. you can't really compare a defender and a striker.

for a good all round player the best player is Christian Vieri.
good acceleation and speed. good at heading and has a lethal left foot and causes every defence a problem.

I think Van Basten is a better striker than Vieri.
Faster, better at shooting and heading and both footed.

It's either down to stats or opinions.

i think crespo is better than Vieri. hes the only two footed striker in the game apart from some of the classic players. good header aswell, good pace, good shooting power and accuracy.

yeah but vieri is the most consistent player and striker as he is never off form unlike oranges 38 (RVN10) who dips form. crespo i find slow and sluggish but however is as good as any when playing on top form.

No-one ever played with Batistuta in before games?

I always had left eing Roberto Carlos, Right wing Ronaldo and Batistuta in the middle, for he had a perfect heading and shooting...

batigol is good but why isnt youngsters such as saviola and d'alleasandro in the argetinina squads from the beginning?

Yeah, its a list of the best players in different positions from past games.

I put Babangida in because although he is technically not as good as Rivaldo or Beckham, he can be extremely effective in his position. With his pace, short height, dribbling and balance he is by far the most effective dribbler at pace down the wings.

Becks excels at set pieces and passes obviously, but is a bit sluggish. I think everyone's opinion will depend a lot on their style of play. I don't have a very good success rate with crosses, and rely more on passing, one-twos, chipped passes and dribbling to score.

bex is sluggish and isnt as fast as i thought he was or should be.

babangidha is the fastest player in the game.
