PES2 was probably my favorite version of PES, in that it's the one I played the most. PES3 was my least favorite one. 5 is still very good though.

International Superstar Soccer Pro '98, simply superb. I was addicted to that game, and still 7 years on I can remember a particular goal I scored. I was England of course and my opponents were Germany, about 30 yards out I smashed it off the crossbar and into the goal. I actually played on this game about 2 weeks ago with a mate, we had a great laugh. And thats why it was such a good game, the fouls were ridiculous though . You could two foot a player from behind and get away with it. Not to mention the world class commentry to go along with it. "Crunchhhhing tackle"...

Out of the list above, I am really unsure though, probably PES5. And once I get it patched (fingers crossed I am successful) it will be twice as good as stock.

The 2 greatest goals I've ever scored was on ISS 98. That was a truely great game. Well remembered.

I enjoyed every ISS and ProEvo game since ISS DeLuxe for SNES.

Pes2 was a shock for me beacuse of the new gen so i get addicted as never ever.

I enjoyed PES3 in a crazy way too, played so much and enjoyed it a lot.

Pes4 was amazing at first but it was the first time i get tired of the game.

About PES5 it has been the hardest to learn and to get into, but i'm enjoying it a lot now.

I'll choose PES5 as the best just bacuse it's the new in the series and i found it more realistic than ever.

To be honest, playing against real people is about 100 times better than AI..and PES 4 was far more enjoyable with my friends. I think most people will get to the point where they can thrash the AI when they will have had PES 5 as long as PES 4.
