Hi, just got rid of my xbox and I'm missing PES4 so I bought it for my PC.
I have installed it fine and ran the game. The first screen show fine, the flash screens of KONAMI writing and the other licenses screens (adidas logo etc..) then when it should go to the menu screen it just goes black.
I have also tried a friends copy and that does the same, both are original DVD's.

I have a 3Gz P4 CPU
1 GB memory
ATI Rad9100 IGP

I have tried different display resolutions by with no joy.

I can play Half Life 2 on all the highest settings and that works fine, but does any one had this problem or know how to fix it?

Might be the intro video.

Go to C:/Program Files/Konami/Pro Evolution Soccer 4 or wherever you installed the game then click on the data folder and delete the file called 'opmov'.

Orkyben, you're the man!! that's worked fine. I deleted the opmov file and it goes straight to the menu screen, I can now play the game.
