I've been a loyal pes player for the last 7-8 years, enjoying both the good and hating the bad. I bought the game even after it's rocky start to new gen machines, adn crossed my fingers every year, hoping for the game to retake the top of the football sim world.
I have to point out that I think this game is one of the best pes games ever made, certainly miles better than the games of recent years. With that said there are still many blips. I won't mention them all since there's already tons of moaning threads clogging every pes board on the net.
My biggest gripe is this; bles-codes. Why do they even exist?
One of the major reasons why Konami is even putting up a fight with fifa is because of the ability to edit teams and leagues so you can play as your favorite team in a simulation of real world football. A solid edit function is a must if pes wants to compete with fifa. Why then, are konami apparently trying to smother their chance to compete by dividing their community into bles-codes, hampering the fans' chance to improve their game?
I don't understand it.
It seems very simple to me. The more and better options we have to edit the game, the more it improves. For konami its' practically free improvement of their game. They should be doing everything in their power to make it easier fans, but they aren't.
I don't understand why Konami arent releasing a game filled with more leagues, several tiers of league-structure, no limit on emblems, faces and such, overall better datatransfer options and no bles. Just let the fans finish the game...they want to...and let them take pes to the top of the world...
From a programming viewpoint it's not complicated to make more leagues...they have several already, so it's basically just copy/paste. League tiers shouldn't be a problem either...they've done one of those too, why not make a "D2" for every league??
For me, this is the last pes i buy if they keep this mindless hostility to fan-editing up. bles sucks, and it sucks even more beacuse I can't fathom why they're doing it. The same applies to their limiting of leagues...
To finish this off, if enough people agree on this, we should take it to konami. They've made a big show of listening to the fans these last years so this should really please them.
