Hello gents, i was wondering if this bizarre event has happened to anyone else?!:
i was playing as italy against portugal in a world cup group game, and italy were 2-1 down but sitting nicely on 6 points so guaranteed to go thru to the next stage, no big deal right? so i get a corner kick in stoppage time and to my amazement, who gets on the end of the ball but the goalkeeper, Buffon!!! i couldnt beleive it cos i've had the game for ages and a goalkeeper has never come up for a corner before!! ok he didnt score but hey it was cool! is there a way of making your keeper do this, like did i press a certain button without realising, or does it do it automatically for some keepers?!!

Has this ever happened to anyone else?!

There's no way to make it happen unfortunately. It happens when a team is losing (by one?) near the end of a match and when they have a corner. That's how it happens to most people.

When your keeper runs up do u see him running up because i always thought it would be kinda difficult to see him from the view that the corner takers gets? :confused:

Happened to me only once, but I mistaken the keeper for a defender (opponent's).

Saw how Robinson scored against a club in injury time in the FA Cup last season?

ah ok nice one....it seems to be really rare though...nah i couldnt see him run up and only noticed it was the keeper once he had his head on the ball! its a cool feature, it would be nice if it happened more often.

In the game, I don't think you see him running up, just that you see him josttling about in the box.

That seems bad then cos i wouldn't relise the keeper was even in the box until i had already taken my corner :( and could u get rid of those posts zyg ?:mad: ;)

I HAVE SCORED WITH A KEEPER!!! And I have the X-PORT SAVE to prove it!!! It was with Fiori - I was 3-2 down against Lens with seconds remaining - Rui Costa sent it in and Fiori appeared on edge of box and fired a bullet header top corner!!!

Attached are my five best goals scored so far with WE7. My best is scored with the goalkeeper.
Zyg - not sure which file is the goalkeeper so have attached all five - hope that's OK. Check it out though mate - absolute rocket.

I don't know how to get it to play so everyone can see it. If there is any way you can post it that would be great.

How can I attach? Won't let me???

u haved to click on 'manage attachments' then browse for the file u want and then wait for it to upload.

sorry, i know this is a bit old thread. but, where is the file?? i wanna see how the goalie scored from a corner kick!

Im never able to score with my keeper in the last minute as when i cross the ball to him he Instantly runs away again! Does anybody know how to stop this?

The only time he has ever stayed up for a header is when ive played on 2 player and one person became the goalie in the box! Does anybody know?
