Since there was not topic like this, i started one

I found some bugs/errors:
No short socks lenght option
Can't put Emblem logo in the middle of the shirt
Can't turn off game radar
WTF is Guðjohnsen ??

My main gripe is the fact you never get a chance to pause the game (for replays) as soon as the ball goes out of play. Pisses me off a lot.

LOL! To the young kids "it must look pretty appealing" seeing all the official licenses etc. But at the end of the day FIFA offers "no control" over players chasing a loose ball. Stilll. it's "only entertainment", hey?

Thirdly. Why would you want radar off? Do you not ever look at it whilst playing to see if players are in space or what?

It shouldnt feel like a computer game, it should be a simulation - but that illusion is killed by the robotic animations, awful presentation and lack of licences which are important. Sorry if I'm being a ten year old.

"Awful presentation".. how is it awful. could you do any better. i think not. Why would you care about licenses, all players are there, thats what really matters. So don't make silly comments.

Is that all the "bugs" you can find??? Are they even classed as bugs???

Radar - I'm sure I see a option to disable the radar, go to system settings.

Socks - WTF? No seriously WTF? lol...... There's more important things they should do other than give you another option for "socks" lol.

As for Guðjohnsen... I wondered what the hell that ð was for a minute lol... I was trying to scratch it off the screen... Oops :fplm:

the licenses have always been appealing why else would we spend hours editing pes to put it "right"
as for your comment about fifa your wrong this is one thing they have fixed:fplm:

Ever heard of exclusivity? FIFA has an exclusive catch-all license. The licenses PES has have to be negotiated individually and the KCET team isn't anywhere the size of EA's. Just because Konami make MGS4, which costs a lot of money and man hours, doesn't mean their Tokyo branch has the same access to resources to challenge the football game from the world's biggest games company.

Dude, i actually like FIFA this year (as much as it pains me to say it). This post was just a bit of "in joking" with Bad-Religion. Although i stand by what it says, as my main gripe with Fifa is when you're chasing a ball over the top with your defender and they suddenly stop for a second and let the striker past them. Or when the ball bounces free and heads towards one of your players, but you can't get control of them to retrieve it, so you have to chase it with the player you're already in control of. And this is with cursor change set to completely unassisted.

And many young kids do buy Fifa for the wrong reasons, namely the licenses. You even get people saying the gameplay is worse than PES, but it's a better overall game because of the licenses! Outrageous!

Other than this, i'm extremely surprised by what a very strong offering EA have put out this year, extremely surprised.

I really don't understand all the commotion about licenses... I've had enough of companies taking the piss out of me with games that look so beautiful, yet the gameplay its shit! If Konami was to announce they will get rid of the licenses, and put even more effort into improving the gameplay I will happily buy it.

Licenses mean fuck all, same goes for graphics. If the gameplay ain't there, there game will suck and fail. Just like FIFA. EA do it every year. Not just the FIFA series, but all the other games they publish.

You will always get someone who is willing to put the effort into making option files that bring all the teams up to date and real names, so using licenses as an excuse to say PES is shit... That's just childish.

first, sock lenght is a thing since pes3 or something, and since then there was a "short" option, dunno why in this there is not
second, wtf i want to know is real name? i didn't understand what you wanted to prove or say, i just said he is not in the game, not in barcelona and there is no iceland.
third like the socks, there where always an option in old pes to disable radar, and i can't see that option there, only top and transparent

the topic name is "Bugs/Problems/Errors"... is not only "Bugs", i never said this things would be bugs...

and btw, the game is great and i love it ;)

Will it really make the game play better if they had shorter socks? Maybe Konami thought it didn't make any difference?

Eiður Guðjohnsen, it will only take a option file and he's added. If you have played the previous versions, you will see how many option files got released.

I'm loving PES at the moment, but these will have no effect on how I see the game. :)
