"SPOnG just came off the phone with the guys at Rockstar UK, who just confirmed for us that the controversial title, Bully, will definitely be released in time for Christmas this year. The game is now a PS2 exclusive, with the company dropping the Xbox flavour.

I think it will dissapoint. I hope they don't use the hand to hand combat system from GTA, as that was pretty lame and using your fists will be a pretty integral part of this game (one thing bullying has taught me (I am/WAS the bully by the way)). I just think that it will get a little repetitive, "meet this guy", "go Here", "find this" etc.

How can people say they are looking forward to it when they know fuck all about the game; i'm looking at you barn.

As long as they use the combat system from the warriors and implement shitloads of destructable scenery/scenery used as weapon type stuff, this game will be a laff.

However, we all remember how shite State of Emergency was don't we?

Of course you can say you're looking forward to it snatch; if it disappoints, it disappoints, but given Rockstar's CV and the content of the game I feel as though one certainly has the right to be hopeful about it.

While the game has an overarching story line broken down into seven chapters, Bully’s biggest appeal will likely be the ability to roam the school and nearby town, making up your own story.

Sounds Good. Hopefully it'll be bigger than the freeroam in the warriors.

Another key component to Bully, its developers say, is its complex social network built around the game’s five cliques. The way you interact with a particular member of a group affects the way they treat you during the game.

Sounds better; i'm gonna have all the cliques wanting my head on a fucking stick by the end.

While you can use objects such as a slingshot, stink bombs or baseball bat, there are no guns or knives.

Baseball bats are always the best things to go crazy with; hopefully there'll be a lot more weapons.

The game features fights, but no animated bruising, bloodshed or death.

Aww snap; and there I was thinking this game would be good. I loved seeing your warriors covered in blood and bruises after a good fight...

During a fight, you can choose to humiliate opponents with things like Indian burns and charley horses, or stop the fight by apologizing.

I'm never doing the latter

Attacking a teacher or female student, skipping classes or staying up too late leads to swift punishment that can stall out the fun.
