Yes, and they have much more dip, too. Does anybody here use manual dip? I've always used X or /\ when necessary, but yesterday a friend of mine suggested R1 and it seemed to work quite well.

or is it just something u press because u THINK it makes a difference?

cos i never knew you could effect the dip of a shot, but i used to press something when i shot from free kicks and although i thought it made a difference it didn't actually do anythin, it was just psychological

Well, considering the Konami manuals are so pitiful and we still don't know what the real descriptions of some stats are, yes it is a guess. I've heard forum members talking of it before, however, and I think some people are aware of it. I incorporated into my game when WE6FE came out and, at least to my knowledge, it worked. It's feasible too, since, /\ and X are used to dip free-kicks (which does work by the way, it isn't your head).

Of course, I'm not 100%, that's why I asked the question.

I think vollys are much better than headers, i hate headers.

Volleys are better, in the sense that you can actually do them, unlike the PES2 where Konami strangely left out first time volleying, silly Japs.
