okay i want to go online, but i was wondering do i need a major credit card to get pes5 online? i've not seen this answered anywhere. thanks.
can someone answer this online question? credit card?

No.
The Pes5 Online servers are provided free by Konami.
All you need is
Copy of PES5
Slimline PS2 or old style PS2 with Network Adapter
Broadband connection (min spec 512Kbps) preferably with Ethernet Modem or router. If not, you can also configure ISC (Internet Sharing Connection) on Windows XP.
That is all you need.
