Can someone explain KONAMI's logic of removing stats?

They keep removing fundamental stats each year, pes used to have alot of stats so you could have alot of variability between players, now they keep removing stats every single year, this year they removed alot of fundamental stats yet again :

Attack
Defence
Short Pass Speed
Long Pass Speed
Response
Dribble Speed
Teamwork


I don't get this flawed logic of KONAMI, for example passing speed is INSANELY imporant, some players have a really fast and strong passing speed, now we can't replicate the difference in game anymore..

Fifa has 28 stats for outfield players while Pes dropped down to 18 now, ridicilous..

I have to agree with this. A few games back, pes had shot technique, which determined how accurate a shot will by when the player is off balance or in a difficult situation. Now they just have a player/skill card that gives you an accurate shot if off balance. very disappointing.

They haven't really removed Attack & Defence they are just called Attacking Prowess & Defensive Prowess. Teamwork will most likely now be based on the the new Heart feature.

Passing Speed was always as strange one for me once they switched Shooting Power to Kicking Power, so it is probably worked out based on that & Dribble Speed based on Dribble Accuracy & Top Speed, meaning that really only response has gone.

No matter how many stats FIFA has all players still feel the same, unlike PES. Just my opinion though
