I have a xbox360 and have never tryed a Playstation, I have read that you can edit much more on te ps3. Is it possible to edit controller swiching so you can take control over a team and play against a other player?

Do you mean the frequency at which a certain player from your team is selected during a match. If so yes.

You can edit if you want the Players selection to be Auto or Manual
You can also have fixed which means you only control one player.

No if start a league with your friends and you want to have ex. 4 team each plus 4extra team then you can't switch control to human vs human when you meet one of the extra teams. You can only play two humans vs AI
