Why is it only possible to change certain players' nationality in the edit mode?

Is there any way to change the nationality of players who don't have the option in edit mode?

in the game you cant change certain player nationality as they are either in the national squad or some thing like that. Maybe a patch will help. Who do you want to change?

I want to change a created player I made. He used to be Forlan and I want to stop him being Uraguayan.

You can change most people's nationalities but I don't know why you can't change evryones. For example, I can change van Nistelrooy's, Fortune's and Kleberson's, but not Ronaldo or Forlan's.

i think it depends on the orginal club, some players are licenced and ther for can not be changed
