More should be added, why is there no Classic Spain, Uruguay or Scotland?

Spain have had well enough great players, Hierro, Guardiola and Nadal, were awesome in the 90s.

Scotland have the likes of Goram, McGrain, Hansen, McNeill, Greig, Johnstone, Murdoch, Baxter, McStay, Souness, Lennox, Jordan, Gemmell, Gemmill, Miller, Jardine, Lambert, Cooper, Dalglish, McClair, Robertson, McCoist and more.

The classic players need to look better aswell, you struggle to see who's who looking at their faces.

Also they should bring back the Europe and Rest of the world teams and classic ones for them aswell

Personally i dont really care much for Classic teams as they all have fucked up names.

If Konami decided to give the players real names like Zidane, Pele and the commentator actually says there name i might be interested in playing with these teams.

Dude, that's one of the thing that Really Annoys me about PES.. They have Dirk Kuyt, Peter Crouch, Pandev, and all those players with spot-on Faces. And then you see the likes of Maradona and Pele looking like shite, that's plain diminishing.

If Maradona, Pele, and the rest of the Classics -are- Not going to have their Real Faces, then why even bother including them in the 1st place?? No one uses players with Random Faces, it feels cheap, it looks cheap, it's Not Next Gen.

Anyways, My all-time XI would be:

Striker; Romario.

Second Striker; Pele.

Playmaker; Carlos Valderrama.

Right Mide; Johan Cruijff.

Left Mid; Diego Armando Maradona.

Def Mid; Claude Makelele.

I don't care much about the Names.. what really bothers me is their Faces, why doesn't Konami includes them with their Proper Faces?? It's really diminishing considering most players have their Real Faces.

Most people don't care about Classic Players -because- they look Cheap with their Random Faces.. However, if they had their Real Faces -then- a LOT of people would use them.

It's a shame Konami doesn't includes them with their Real Faces and Names. Could be a great Feature to the game, would give us something to "Unlock" -and- would give much more Value to the "PES Shop".

THEY DONT HAVE THE F'KIN RIGHTS TO DO IT. "fucked up names..." they are actually great fake names (Malgani+Palm+Von Bolsen+Cwarim) Look at FIFA's, they dont have real players.

Guess what?? Back in PES5, did they had the "rights" to Feature Nike Vapors?? No, did that stopped them from (Somehow) getting Nike Vapors into the game?? No.

They can Feature Classic Players with their Real Faces.. a different matter is if they have taken the Time to think of How.

i just wish they didnt tangle classic players with ML. Like to get classic players in my ML i have to win every cup and league about 100 times with a variety of teams and win EVERYTHING to get them all which is bullshit. 2 Words - PES....SHOP. Simple, quick and fun. Making have to do all the cups etc isnt going to make me play them, its just going to lead me to not playing the game that much. At least tell me what players i get for winning each cup ffs

I like the new method, it makes us play the game, play the cups,face different opponents,etc...

@Amateur- About the Nike Vapors talk, do you know that FIFA can sue them for using their real names/faces,etc...
Or else, you think that PES can do everything you want? No!

The people making the option files should edit over the classic teams if they can and so we would have some extra real world teams in there.

After i got the Lennon OP on pes 6 i didnt even bother with the current teams.
Classics all the way for me.

what about a player shop? and can you transfer/add Pele/Maradona to any team you choose i.e. REAL MADRID?

I know this was an option back in PES 6, 7, but not 8...

PES 7???? PES 8??? Are you sure you are playing the same series that I am? Seriously, PES2008 has classic players, you have to unlock them winning cups,leagues,ML's and such.

you can transfer classic players in 08 to any club, i have maradona on my river plate team.
