Pfffrt 2 bad that this co-op is all about the money. Managerzone is to commercial and it really misses the right gameplay. I've played it for 8 months.

Hattrick is way better :) And absolutely free (and MZ is not)...

Compare it like this: Managerzone is like Fifa. Big marketing, looks better.
Hattrick is like PES. Better gameplay, better community, more fun.

HT has more users than MZ, even tough MZ spends more monet on marketing.

Oh....that's freak me out

Simply, You can play 2 gamnes at same time, 1,50$ are not too much omney for a great game, and Hattrick (that I play that also) isnt so good,
Mz is a complement of Ht, and HT a complement of MZ.

And you say taht Mz spend the money only on marketin, You're wrong...

Hat Trick has been aorung for around 6-7 years now, its infamous and has a lot of members. They have lots more cash than MZ does to spend.

MZ has been going for 3 years, thats about 4 years less. And in that time, MZ has catched up a considerable amount to the standard of Hat Trick in half the time.

Hattrick you have to wait 3 weeks to get a team, and the game is hardly ever improving, while MZ is always improving and has potential to go much further than hat trick does.

What I find strange, is that you say you have played MZ for 8 months and think its poor, do you continue to play games that you dont like?

As you said... It is improving fast... So i stayed for 8 months to see how much. After that it was boring me. I have to agree that HT and MZ can't be compared, but I still think that HT has a lot more depth.

50!

115 and Counting...
I played Hattrick for 3 months and lost evry single game :(:(:(

Everyone said it was because i was rubbish at it then i gave my friend the team and he was experienced at the game and he could'nt win either its a pretty crap game and from what i have seen of MZ it looks really good.

I signed upto Hattrick, had to wait 4 weeks for a team, by the time I got the team, I just wasnt interested in it anymore and I found the menus utter confusion.

The players are rated by 'good', 'great', 'superstar' and all that rubbish, where as in MZ, they have different skills and have 'balls' in each skill, put a player on tackling, and he will get an extra ball in Tackling in the Training report, which is added to his current attributes. A lot more to do on MZ than Hattrick.

Hattrick also has bog standard tactics, MZ has a tactic page where you have more freedom to place players than in CM4, which means you can be more of a 'Tinkerman' and create the ultimate counter tactics. More depth again.

Hattrick's matches are 'calculated' which means the values of each player is added up and 9/10 the better teams win, no matter what the differential is between the two teams.

Managerzone games are 'Simulated' which is sticking 22 players with AI on a pitch and let them PLAY the game. Which means on a good day, the better team can actually lose. Just like real football.

Hattrick makes their money by selling that HAM program (Hattrick Assistant Manager) which keeps all of your matches and stuff.

ManagerZone has MZManager, which is free and better, and made by fans of the website as well. Due to the better layout and design, and not to mention the paying features, MZ has to make money back, no member is obligated to pay for anything other than the start up fee.

If you dont pay, you can still play in the league, still play friendlies and still build a team and a stadium. If you want to join a cup, challenge a top team/world allstars/national teams/join a friendly league/join a private cup/watch all your matches in the 3d feature, then it will cost you £1.

They are not neccessary, but you do get more out of the game. Hattrick does exactly the same, they just dont have as many features to which you can spend your money on.

If you wanna see a real game that has gone money grabbing mad, then go see Sunday League. They charge you for buying players, selling players, building a stadium and training your players, which is just basically, the person who puts the most money into the game, will win. Which is completely unfair for everyone. MZ does not do the same. The only thing that you can profit from, is when joining a cup, your ranking goes up the more you progress in the cup. And thats about it.

I'd have to make few notes on that.

You said that you rather see that a player has 7 balls on defending then to see that he is a mythical defender. I can't agree with you there. HT has 20 dominations to every stat.

There is no such thing as a match report on MZ wich shows you how well your players did individual.

HT does not earn money on HAM. HAM is from Loke. There are over 20 programs wich does the same and they are free.

HT has integrated stats and match reports for free.

In HT the better team doenst allways win. If that was true I was #1 of my serie, cause i have the highest stats. In stead of that I'm 7th (crappy tactics :))

HT has 7 years experience and is free. Non-paying members are 100% equal to paying members. The difference is that paying members have things like shirt design.

The fact that you couldn't win a game is cause you didn't read the game manual ;)

Conclusion: HT and MZ can't be compared. I beleive that HT is still ahead of MZ, but that MZ will be an equal next year, cause they have more money to spent. I think it's crappy that you can play a game every day. But that's my opinion. It isn't realistic. In HT you only have the league and the national Cup.

If you want to spend a lot of money.. play MZ and you'll have the game of your life in 2 years.

If you want to have a game wich is free and better right now.. go and play HT. You won't regret it :)

You can see the individual match reports, guess you didnt read the manual ;)

I would rather see my players progress visually instead of verbally, but hey thats your liking.

MZ Manager is free also.

If you want to play a great game, take a 30 day free trial, if its not to your liking, dont pay, simple as that :)

As for 'if you want to play a free game that better right now, then I dont believe you are talking about Hattrick, as it takes 4 weeks for them to give you a team. You get a team straight away on MZ.

And yes, MZ will soon overtake Hattrick as they do make more money.

But the amount of quality MZ has at the moment that tips them over in favour of HT, is phenomenal. Maybe the simulator can be improved, which it is, all the time, and maybe MZ doesnt have the depth that Hattrick is where you can contrl a lot of different aspects of Managing, but features like these are being added every week. So the game is moving at lightspeed compared to Hattrick.

As you said, Hattirck has 7 years experience, MZ has 3 years experience. And by the time we get to 7 years, we will easily be ahead of any other type of Managing game available. :)
