Controller problems need help plz

Im new to pes

Hey guys, got a problem with pes. Im useing a ps2 usb to pc converter so i can use my ps2 controller, now its working fine in fifa 09. When i start pes 2009 its working fine can use the controller to scroll through the menus etc but when i actualy play a match the players just auto kick the ball without me doing anything, has anyone come accross this problem ?

What kind of USB converter is it? Is it the one where you can connect 2 PS2 controllers? If so, ... you need to configure the right 1 in "settings" of PES. You wil see that the other one seems bugged (obviously because it sees no controller) and keeps pressing down.

Ok so I'm having the same dilemma here but I don't really understand how I'm supposed to fix the issue. Can someone please help me by describing the process of fixing this outmost annoying issue
