I´ve seen several threads about this around different pages and no doubt corners are especially important if you know how to use them..I think it would be very useful we create a topic about this, to put in just one thread all the tips about corners you use..so everybody can take advantage of this

no point really, because not that many people would talk about corners, i think its better just 2 but them on this part of this forum (hints & tips)

What i found works for me is using a right footed player for right side corners, turning them all the way down the goal line, filling it half way or a little less depending on the power of the kicker, hold :R1: and left. i score 3/5 times this way i'd say. reverse for left corners

yea.. corners are just luck.. leave the kicker where he points.. if a corner on the left get a right foor kicker.. and vice versa.. and just over half fil the bar.. hold a direction so it curls towards the keeper... hit sqaure while the ball is in the air.. and there u have it.. prolly the best way to take corners.. as they are just luck...

I always do this:

Use someone with the same foot as the side you're on (left on left and vice-versa). Face along the goal line directly at the goal. Go about halfway up the bar and swing out using the analogue stick (or d-pad, whatever).

I think it's basically what the dude a few posts up said, but I don't use :R1:.

its better to use a corner taker that kicks inwards towards the keeper not away from the goal.
use Beckham to whip them from the left and recoba to whip from the right for example.
also if you get the hang of it you can score from the corner, its quite simple and easy after a while :) .
it all depends on corners because if you got a small players then you want to find a gap in the defense where you can play it to them, if you got tall players then you will want to lob it in there nice and high.
also it depends on the way your opposition is defending becasue if theres a player open you would give it to him. :)

I always play it in high towards the penalty spot and use R1 or R2 (can't remember which) and the directional buttons to lose my marker and power home a sweet header into the top corner

I scored half the time with aimar taking the corner on the right side and with someone heading it in. I turn halfway in between the starting position and the end line. I hold down the up arrow and fill the bar up 3/4 of the way full. I also hold down left so that it curls away from the goalie.

I've also almost scored directly using Recoba on the right side. I move it until its almost by the end line and then hold down circle until its about 3/4 of the way full. It goes high and almost curls in.

Yeah, I think that's the only way to score consistently from corners.

If you have the guy at the front post (in front of his marker) aim 2 taps away from the goal line & let the power-bar fill to just over 1/2 whilst holding :R1:.
Curl the ball away from goal & keep the corner flat & fast by holding diagonally up & away from the goal. The keeper never comes out to challenge, because it's too quick.
Be ready to hit :square: as soon as the corner's on its way & your guy at the near post should power a header past a helpless keeper :D

I have scored a corner before with Beckham. All I did was make Beckham face the net then do two taps away from the net, fill the power to just above half-way and hold the inswing button and it went over the keepers head into the bottom corner. SORTED. Anyone else done this before???
