Counter Attack or Possession?

What is your favorite strategy in PES2018, Counter Attack or Possession?

Possession is always the better option I suppose?

The logic being while you have the ball the opposition don't, and as such can't score.

I do find I score a lot of goals on the counter, though, so I guess it's really just do whatever is best at any given moment.

Counter Attack for me.
And in my Advanced Strategy, I have "Hug the Touchline" and my fastest player (a winger) will be the "Counter Target". So he's usually all on his own on the half way line on the left side.
I then whack a chipped through ball to him and he's away! It's the only time Theo Walcott ever does anything useful.
He's like the kid at school who's crap, so you tell him to stay up the pitch!

I get where you're coming from. I need to try the "Possession" game, but I like to play on the break.

I think everyone has a certain style of play
Some love to play a fast game on the break like you
i love Possession game short passes

If you want to try a Possession game It will take a little time to get used to it Because the box might get a little crowded
