CPU Diving

C'mon then lads, with the new addition this year has anyone noticed that some CPU controlled players are more likely to go down on you?

I've noticed that Saint Ettiene seem to dive a lot, certainly against me though this could be a complete coincidence.

Any opinions?

Surely this game requires a higher age certificate.

To be honest, I haven't really noticed any blatant diving, but I have noticed that the computer seems to get a lot of very cheap free kicks whereas my players seem to have to get a broken leg before getting one.

During the first week, I conceded two penalties due to the CPU's diving, but since then, every dive attempt from them has been in vain.

On the flip-side, I've one a few myself and have even got a player sent-off. :smug

Definitely happens, countless number of times the CPU has gone down to quickly and been collared by the ref, though they do seem to get the timing right and for a second it does seem like they've got a pen/fk until the ref comes over and you think "you fucking cheating bastards"

Good laugh though and all in all a good addition to the game I think. Adds to the realism at least.

Escpecially playing another human offline.. the reaction on my mates face when i conned a pen was priceless!

As if to confirm what I said above, I just lost to Saint Ettiene with a last minute dive and a freekick.

Get a man on the line...it really does help if you're quick enough getting them back there.

Really? It actually happens quite frequently with me (i.e. every 3 or 4 games)

It's good because the CPU always times it well, they go down and you think it could be a pen/fk and then you realise its not...or it is :no:
