crossing needs to be patched!!

THe whole gameplay is great except the crosses, they are horrible! Too accurate and most times than not they go square to the middle of the box and it becomes a 50/50 situation with the defender. Someone had mentioned a while ago that they felt like guided mistles and they actually kind of do, they dont result in goals all the time or even most of the times but its still annoying. Crossing has no powebar, you just press circle and off it goes, they should patch the crosses and make them like corner kicks where the powerbar actually has a purpose and it takes more skill on the human player than just closing their eyes and hoping Ibra or some other big CF heads it in for them. GET IT DONE KONAMI!!!!!

IMO the goalkeepers have much improved with the first patch when the game was released.

However,the players need more urgency.

You play a good ball through, but your player casually walks to the ball. Once he touches the ball, it's fine. But when he's chasing it, he's going way too slow.

There are a few other things that are frustrating me so far. But these problems do not stop this game from being a very, very good game.

Overall, I feel Konami have given us something really special.


The only gripes I have is you cant change online speed settings online and what I said above...

Ostensibly,the dlc update may fix both issues and much more

I am on manual. It has nothing to do with that. It makes no diffference. Besides, every loser online uses assisted cross/pass. That's part of my complaint

Assisted pass/cross bar at four + close control when crossing and you have yourself a noob way to score, just like last years low cross BS !

For those of you complaining about so called 'losers' using the full assist setting, let me make this point. Once mastered manual settings will whoop any assisted player. The passing channels for assisted are set in stone and easy to defend, whilst manual passing allows you to misplace (for very good reasons), this makes it much harder to defend.

Stick with it, one tip I think the powerbar is different for low pass and though ball. Low passes require more powere to go the same distance.

Agree with gunnerglow, Take FIFA for example, A game they claim is easy to pick up and play and difficult to master.Yet if you do master it you still come unglued against hoofball pin point to unmarked strikers, passbacks and general cheap ass pick up and play tatics.

PES rewards you with mastering the game by opening up more channels for passing, crossing ect ect.

its funny when pplayers are runninf for instance pato running at 25 mph then a millisecond later he is walking at 4mph, if konami fix issues like this(mainly animations) it could be a game worth the money

word, i've kept at it on manual and i really have improved. but you can tell when someone has full assistance, and it pisses me off with the old to the byline and a missle to the near post, header goal or perfect placement along the floor. but saying that you can defend it so i love it when i block it and off i go on the counter.
