Have you any idea, what the best defence stategy is? I don't think different formatons (5-4-1), but the using of defending style, attack attitude/high-low-normal defence settings, line/normal/sweeper-style. The most used defending settings by me:line defence, back line:A, offside trap:A, high attack attitude. I have tried the quick settings /defense only/ but it works badly. In that case my players're movin' backward and givin' chances to the opponents to score more goals. 'All attack' is also wrong for me, my players're loosing the ball, step offside, always in bad position, and the opponents're making dangerous counter attacks. Can anyone help me?

i Personally use a back line of 3 and 1 player behind them playin as a sweeper, that way through ball that get past the defence can be stopped easily and if anything bounces over your defence you sweeper is their to take care of it
(1-3-4-2-)

Well, actually It depends what you consider defending is. IF you think defending is not receiving any goal, then I think the best way of defending is just keeping the ball 70% of the time....anyway, when I want to defend I use a 4-5-1 with the settings...BABB and also line defence...
