Defensive Headers?

hello guys - been playing the demo for a while now and think it feels a bit like PES5, so am really looking forward to the full game.

However I need some advice on defensive headers inside myown penalty box. Often the CPU crosses the ball in, my defender wins the header and it barely reaches the edge of the box? I have conceded several goals this way and it's a bit annoying. I'd like to get a bit more disatnce.

Are you pressing square or x? If x then there's your problem.

I've tried both. Is square better???

Square's a lot better cuz it's a clearance header so usually more power and height. X just looks for a teammate.

Also try using super cancel to position your defenders, the better position there in the better the header.

^ Yes you can use the super cancel (i assume you're familiar with it?) Otherwise you can use the classic R2 button to control your player in every situation where you're preparing to head it. It makes it easier..
