I've played 4 seasons as Real Madrid on Pro difficulty in Master League and I'm finding buying players increasingly frustrating. I have won the CL, League and D1 cup 4 times in a row- world player of the year 4 times, top goalscorer and most assists in every competition as well as rank number 1 every season. I could not be a more attractive team to sign for.
I understand that in some way it is representative of the real football market so buying players such as messi and rooney is impossible- that being said, real did buy Ronaldo, Kaka and Benzema last season- something which is simply impossible on ML 2010.
Players i have managed to buy are arguably world class, yet they would be unlikely to make a world 11 - Diego, Nasri and Torres (brilliant in reality- less so on pro evo) are the only significant purchases i've been able to make.
Despite many players having a full bar of discontent AND not play all season I have been denied time and time again from buying. Counter to this I have attempted to buy players such as Balotelli, Pjanic, Jovetic and Bojan, only to lose them to Olympiakos, Tottenham (North East London), Ajax and other far smaller teams.
With this evidence, it does seem like one rule for the user and one rule for the AI/CPU. Along with many other simply ridiculous parts of the game- it is perhaps the most frustrating given the simplicity of badly weighted parameters on purchasing power.
