Anyone thinking of getting this?

I haven't bought a game in ages but now I want 3!!! I'm def getting Batman: Arkham Asylum in next few weeks, I've pre-ordered PES 2010 and now I'm thinking of Dirt 2. It could be an expensive couple of months!

Dirt 2 seems to be getting great reviews:

I haven't played the original though. Anyone know what's it like? It sounds like a great mix between simulation and arcade :)

There's a demo out on xbox live, not sure about PSN, but it's a pretty fun game, Colin Mcrae games have always been fun.

I remember playing Colin Mcrae 2.0 on my PC. It was ultra realistic and had an amazing damage model. It seems to have changed quite a lot since then though!! Not sure about being able to rewind time when you crash? Surely that's cheating?

Thought about it, even downloaded the PS demo. Not sure I'll bother though. I'm a bit of a rally purist & the whole grungy, trendy, hip & hoppity of the whole thing puts me off. The driving mechanic is good though.

Main reason is lack of funds. That & waiting for GT5 (with WRC license) & Forza 3...

The only thing I know about the game is the trophy/achievement called "Two Cups One Girl".

Hippity hoppity :)

I know what you mean Fick. It seems a million miles from the Colin Mcrae of old. Then again, I've never had an off road racing game like Motorstorm or Pure so I might give it a go. It does look really good fun to fly off jumps and splash through puddles. And the damage model sounds amazing :D

I can always buy Forza 3 for the ultra realistic simulation side in me (Once it comes down in price a bit mind).
