Diving Definitely In (+ Video)

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwROVMZ7Sts

Check out this video. The quality is pretty crappy (but it's better obv if you click "watch in high quality") but it's a decent match between Brazil and Portugal. Those who wern't sure if diving was still in, check out 3:08 in the video, and you can see that it definitely is.

I also like the pace of this particular game, it's a much better player on player match with a slower tempo. Note how much easier it is to tackle then in PES 2008 and also how players arn't afraid to volley the ball, I don't know about you but I found them rather insistent on diving headers last year.

Yeah this is a pretty nice video, the overall pace of the game looks much better than PES08! I don't really care whether diving is in the game or not, but if it is in I guess it gives you an extra option if your desperate for a goal, hehe

as long as it actually works this time out. i tried it hundreds of times and just found it as a pointless addition.

i won maybe one or two free kicks through diving in the entire time i had the game. i dont want to win one every time but if your going to include it it must win you more than a yellow card

Seabass said, the only time it works, is when you would have scored or gotten a penalty' anyway. So You can't just use it and hope for the referee to give you a free kick or penalty. Thank God for that.

I also noticed that two touches rule for free kicks has been implemented into 2009´s version, you can see it in the same video after the diving, when they take the free kick there is an icon on top that has a goal crossed in red, which means that an indirect shot must be taken. Although i didnt see a new move that would have a second player touch the ball so that you can shoot to the goal, forcing you to just pass the ball, or center it to goal area.

Im sorry if this was already posted by someone or that is already in 2008´s version that i haven´t seen.

The 2nd player knocking the ball forward has been in PES for a while. In 2008 I think it was you just had to press L3 and the second player rolled the ball forwards. So I assume it'll be something similar in 2009.
