Do these skillcards ACTUALLY WORK

I have earned these cards in the game but do I actually see any benefit from them ...IMO I DON'T.

I have:

• First-time Shot
• One-touch Pass
• Malicia
• Man Marking
• Acrobatic Finishing
• Captaincy
• Super-sub

The only one I actually can say is working is Captaincy. As far as Malicia goes, I get broken in half and still don't get a free kick.
In 4 seasons I have gotten 1 penalty kick.

Is there any use waisting time one these

First-time shot and acrobatic finishing make a difference. They improve the accuracy of hitting the ball without controlling and shooting even when off-balance, respectively. I've seen the difference in my current ML save. Martial learned both.

My only experience with penalties in this game was a shootout in a cup final. Talk about dropping me in at the deep end!
