Folks,

Its far too early to speculate anything but here's an official tidbit:
http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2010/02/09/new_winning_eleven/

Now we have all heard this before (fool me thrice..) and I hate to admit it but I have defected so far into the dark side that it might actually be impossible for Konami to get my cash this time.

PES 10 was an improvement but you all know the flaws, besides, I'd rather have gameplay over Fernando's freckles.

What you people saying? Optimistic enough?

F^ck him. I don't believe a word he says. He said the same thing for PES08, 09 and 10. I hope EA and FIFA continue to rape his sorry ass.

Fix the fkn online lag! You lazy bastards!

well if you have a decent connection bro there's hardly any lag. Last night, I played totally 100% lag free but now I'm done with quick matches. Just go in a match lobby see their connection and its gonna be good.

Well 2010 was meant to be 'the year' that they have apprently been working towards since 2008 so i dont see how they can just suddenly bring about these changes after 1 year. You cant just go with famicom styled gameplay or w/e for 10 years and then just up and go into next gen territory after 1 attempt. The only thing keeping PES above water these past few years from going completely under water has been there stubboness not to change. If they fail trying this new next gen gameplay they'll loose the core fans for sure and if it simply doesnt work then they'll loose the casual gamer and the game wont resemble PES as we know it at all

^Might I remind yo that you're in a pes based thread? If all you can say is that, then continue this in your thread about the fifa world cup.
As for the topic. Right now I won't believe a thing because it's far too early.

Can't people post properly?

We're supposed to be talking about a game, and instead the raping of arses is being brought into it.

Ugh, guys. :/

I cant see konami developing a new game engine exclusively for current gen consoles in six months...

I want to believe that if they take 200+ people last year to the PES development team, like Seabass said...maybe we can see something new in the WE Blue Samurai Challenge ( the game for the world cup that konami is going to lunch in june for PS3 only.)... If we see something new in that game we can look forward to PES 2011 with new eyes...

I personally want a hole new engine, but if they can do a proper animations system, improve and variate the AI, fix referees, fix GK and develop a new stamina system for online CR9-Messi abusers...i am done....

Being optimistic, in the botton line, the development process of PES2011 start at least last year...thats sound like good news to me..

That's just a stupid thing to say. I don't really disagree with you, but the only way an online game will ever be truly "fair" is the day everyone play with the exact same team.

Football will never be fair, some clubs have more prestige and money than others and will always have an edge over smaller clubs because of it. If you want Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United present in the game, and available to use in online matches, then you are already saying that you want these so-called abusers present as well.

Online match ups will allways suck because of this in my opinion, football games aren't suitable for online gaming anyway. It can only be enjoyable if you choose to swallow big, sour grapes without chewing them.

PS. Simply taking advantage of something the game provides, you without cheating to get it, is hardly abuse though my friend. It's concidered "smart" in most civilized countries.

An online ranking system is a must. The pros quite simply outway the cons in terms of having some sort of system. Having to earn the right to use R. Madrid should be comon sence. When im playing Project Gothem online i have to earn the right to use the TVR. When im playing COD MW2 i have to earn the right to use the M16. Having unlocable teams will give you a sence of achievment for unlocing them and will stop these goons who just use them for a quic root to the top. It will teach players how to play good football because they'll be using lesser teams so the standard of play all round should improve. In every other genre of games you have to earn the best stuff on the game. Why not have that in a sports game?
You get my point?

I like that idea. Or what about having a system where for online matches it chooses the teams for you at random, Real Madrid and Barcelona would just be lucky. What about a lucky dip online??

Yeh i agree with you pal... but what i mean is PES needs a new stamina system just to do the game more like simulation...

Its true that the good big teams always gonna have best oportunities to win...but IMO its the way they win... in real football we know that big players do 4-5 great runs(plays) per game...but in PES they do 20-30 in a ten minutes match...IMO that is arcade...

I want a new stamina system for improve the pass gaming style...just because we want to play football...not rugby... of course we can have the big players to do big runs...but with a more accurate stamina system that can be most balanced...just to simulate the real game.

PS:When we see Messi for example... in barza he take the ball near to the box...and with he speed, accurancy and technique, he makes the difference...but when he plays for Argentina...he dont play in the same level just because he can take the ball near to the box (because argentina dont have the passing gaming style that have Barcelona)... and the Messi effect is just minimal....In PES we can take messi and run by the bands all the game... with a more balanced stamina system (ala fifa) we can emulate most accurately the real football.

PS2: Maradona make the biggest goal in football history running fron the midfield against England in Mexico 86...but he cant do that same play all that match...just because is human...jejejeje and get tired after a play like that.

Peace

I have huge anticipation for pes 2011, this year i went for fifa, next year i have a feeling it will be pes. I wont be listening to konami as much in the coming months when the pes hype begins. I'm tired of the "we've been working on it for three years" line we always are given. I just want them to focus on the gameplay, couldn't give two fucks about online play but i know many of you are passionate about this side of the game, i play offline and multiplayer.

Yeh we would start off with the worst teams in the game and after each match you get xp and then unlock more teams after each rank.
