Editing a patch?

Is it possible to edit a .ppf patch? What I mean is it possible to open up, say, JB's monster and remove/replace things to ones own taste and then apply the edited patch to PES3? Things I'd like to replace are boots, Englands old away kit etc. Please say it's possible!!

Of course it possible, extract the data_x and edit the things you want to edit in Afsexplorer or WE graphic studio. There are a lot threads about this, search a bit an you will find everything you need!

In that thread have been written the steps which you should follow when changing something. In that thread are mentioned stadiums and boots but the steps mentioned in there are also working for everything inside the data_x so kits, referee ktis,balls etc.etc

Do I edit the .ppf file before I apply it to the PES3 bin or do I apply the .ppf and then edit before I burn?

You dont edit the pff, you apply the pff to your bin, then exract the data_x (wherein all the things are like shoes etc.) and then edit this. you seE?

Which editing tool would you recommend then GFK? I need something as userfriendly as possible as I'm a bit of a novice. WEPESGraphic Studio, WEditor or WEMod Center? AFSExplorer?

WEPESGraphic Studio and AFSexplorer are for all the things inside data_x. WEPESGrpahic studio is the most user friendly.
WEditor is for changing formations shoes assignments etc.
And WEmodcenter is a old program dont use that one.

Can I extract the Adidas Predators from my original PES3 and add them over the black Adidas that I don't like in JB's patch? Or is there a boot patch with the latest predators in for PES3?

I downloaded wendetta boots. U get 9 boots with em but u can only select boots 0, 7 and 8 with an option file editor and not in the editing mode in the game.
I got the pack from www.proevolutionline.com

but wendetta boots arent for PES3.

Mumpleaser you should download the tutoriol ''how to make your own bootpack''
Cause you cant replace that boot with that one etc. You have to deal with transparencies etc.

They may not be originaly made for pes3 but they work with pes3.

waterloos tool off lomuntung sorts out shirt numbers, collar type, radar colour etc.
What else do u mean by "and stuff".
U wuld get a better answer if u asked with more detail
