Hi everyone, i just wanna say i am new to this whole editing side of pro, but am very interested and keen about doing it. basically what im after is a patched version of pes 2008 on the PS2. i would be so greatful if people could tell me what tools i need to download and the steps i need to take to insert patches so i have a copy of pes 2008 with things such as, kits, boots, balls, stadiums, ad boards, chants, score boards, team banners even change the commentary.

im sure there have been loads of questions and requests of this nature before, its just im having difficulty looking round trying to find what it is i need so i would be so greatful if you all could help to put everything into one place.

also i have a slim-line PS2 so is there anything i need to do to it in order to play a patched version of the game?

again, thank you for your time and helping me enjoy pro and i look forward to learning how to edit the game.

To get everything you listed you will need a modded PS2 (so it can play discs which you burn from your PC)... and also keep your fingers crossed somebody actually does a full patch like that. Last year most people concentrated on developing option files, which can only included the data you can edit from within the game such as kits, sponsors and badges.

Best patches usually comes from WEMERICA.. they do everything... balls, adboards, kits, faces, music (thank god!), cup and league logos..

they probably haven't finished one for 2008 yet, but not doubt it will be out in a couple of weeks..

I would really like to make my own OF. I think I can do everything to make sure the game looks right in that aspect. I don't know how to make the kits though. But I can cope w/transfers, better stats/abilities where needed, starting line-ups, correct boots, updated accessories/appearances for all leagues. Also the correct names of some NT's (ex. Costa Rica, Slovkia Germany etc.), corrected names in few selected clubs (ex. Torossidis? It's Torosidis - no big deal but it's also easy to fix), proper names of leagues and stadiums...

But my proposal will be all in vein because I don't even know how to publish it. :shifty:

sounds cool, i'll look out for the patches, what i really need to know is what tools i need to download for these patches and how i then add them. also what mod do i need for my PS2.
