Editing PES United kit?

I went and made a custom team in the PES United spot with edited rosters, jerseys, etc. The 2nd "season" is starting for this team and I want to do a new kit, I took Anderlecht's jerseys, edited them around a bit and threw them in the uni -> 200 -> px folder figuring I could use them as extra jerseys for my customized team, but lo - not one of them worked! Is there a trick to doing this for teams that have been edited?
