Euro vs Japanese game... which one to import?

Im in the US and Im torn, should I import the EUro game or wait for the Japanese one??? will the Japanese one be identical?

i dont care about he language, I just care about the gameplay... will it be identical? Do we know that? or are they tweaking it and maybe fixing the lag issue?
