now then my main passion in life is F1 so i'm definately going to get it as i've been waiting for this game to come out since 2006 and after almost 5 years an F1 game is going to come out. the screenies that i've seen look absoloutly amazing and i don't care what the reviews are i'm still going to get it. but i was just wondering how many of you are at least wondering whether or not to buy it.

Got it yesterday... only had one proper race last night & so far actually quite impressed. Moves at a fair rate from cockpit view.

Had a time trial at monaco in the rain... if visibility is like that in the real thing, then fuck me, all credit to the drivers!!!

I've read a fair few reviews of this and it sounds amazing! I might get this when it comes down in price. Forza 3 is still keeping my racing needs well and truly catered for at the minute.

I do like the sound of battling it out in a season long championship with the likes of Webber and Hamilton though. I think that's the one thing that Forza has missing :(

Played a bit more & there a few niggles... nothing game breaking, but just iffy. It seems any collision is deemed your fault. Alonso span out at monaco leaving me no possible escape route, I got a warning for hitting him. Then 2 other cars hit my stationary vehicle, 2 more warnings & I got black flagged. Bearing in mind that after the first collision my car was already crippled :mellow:

Punctures are also too easy to pick up. Pit crews and pit strategy are also a bit crap. I chose to start out on the option tyre to avoid the shit delay I was getting in the pits, went to change to prime for the last period & the daft gits put my last set of option's on... not quite what I was expecting.

They are more niggles than anything else, but ones that should've been fixed.

Oh, and monaco is a bitch in the dry as well!

Is there a spectator mode? I used to love watching races on the 2004 game where I put the Ferraris on the back row and Minardis at the front.
