Well there's a demo thread about this but I now have the full game It is easily the best first person shooter ever, and half life and doom are going to been pretty amazing to better this game, trust me!

Right from the beginning you can go whereever you want on the island and do whatever you want. If you can see it, you can go there. The graphics are the best i've ever seen, even better than half life 2's tech demo. It runs great on my system (P4 2.3 ghz), although I have some of the video settings on medium, most are on high.

I'm only on the 2nd mission inside a massive aircraft carrier I had to get to in mission 1 and i've been playing for ages. It's one of the hardest games i've played, the AI is perfect...they take cover, bring in reinforcements from other parts of the island via helicopters and boats, they even flank you and everything

The vehicles are brilliant too, there's even an hang glider although I haven't found it yet. Game of the year? It just might be, considering its Crytechs first ever game and their own engine. There's even a level editor with the game and it's supposed to be the most advanced (and easiest) editor for maps and mods ever.

Better graphics then half life 2 :eek:

I got the demo and it amazing, it didnt look quite as good as half life but it was still more advanced then any game out now!! TRUST! I cant wait to get my hands on this!! :D:D

Theres 20 missions i believe, im on the third and its rock hard, you jump off a cliff with a glider and then an helicopter comes after you :D

Oh yeah the games on DVD so make sure you've got a DVD drive :p

Right i've taken some screenshots, I was playing at 1028x768 resolution but edited the screens to 800x600 so its easier to see on here.

This is just the 4th level, not even half way through it in fact, you should get an idea how massive the levels are from these:
