call of duty 2 pc or x360 top game.
quake4 haven't played yet but l'ii bet it's good.
half life 2 on xbox is a class game.
there will also be an update of halo2 on x360 with improved graphics,new multi player levels and bug free.

The newer Battlefield title is supposed to be rather good on the PC.

Perfect Dark on Xbox360 is good and of course the other ones on that console that Greeny mentioned like Call Of Duty.

Battlefield 2 is fucking great, no debate. Haven't played Special Forces yet (an expantion) though it's meant to be pretty great.

HL2 is still worth getting if you haven't, but to be fair it's really got to be on PC to be enjoyed at its best.

COD2 looks good. I probably won;t get it as I'm now too used to non linearity in BF2, but I've played the demo and it's ace.
