Right, this thread will be for the people who have Football Manager 2006. I got this idea off of -ThE G- so a huge credit goes to him. Well, here's the little info on what to do:

Each week there will be a challenge to do on Football Manager 2006 Eg: See how far you can get with Leeds United. And then after the week's deadline you will post a screenie of how far you got up the table. Simple, really. Anyone can join aslong as you have Football Manager 2006. After the screenies are up the winner (Person who had got the furthest up the table) Will then the next week set a completely new challenge. Enjoy, and the first challenge will be set from me in about 2 hours.

I'm in but..

a) A week aint long enough for a full season

b) I've got a data update on my game with all the transfers as of last week, so like you know my season will be much different from all yours.

Mate I can't use FM at home as my CD drive is broken but next monday (31/7/06) I'm going to my grandparents and I can do it then. But the problem is I cant post my screenshot up until when I get back as they dont have internet. Would that be ok? You can trust me that I wont continue after the deadline ;)

I did post it up in the FM thread, you need WINRAR to install it though.

Ok I've got the file but the Readme says this.

- Spanish problem remains, playing these leagues will make your game crash on October 23rd, DO NOT play this unless you wish
to help solve the mystery surrounding it, all help it as said previously, appreciated.

What "bug" is this?


And also it says "overwrite your current db" is it the client one or the server one?

Don't know if its been said, but everyone should have

a) the same VERSION of the game and;
b) the same update.

Without both of those, this entire thing is completely pointless.

So we just play this for 2 weeks and show off how well we did?

On another forum you get a point table such as winning the league - 20 points or winning uefa cup 10 points, winning champions league 20 points etc, and then there's a table with the overall points after every challenge and then it's easier to prove who is the king of FM :)

That sounds like a good idea as then it takes all aspects of the season into count.
