Form Vs Overall Rating?

I often let the computer set my team for me, by putting the best players into my squad by either Form, Overall Rating or Normal (can't remember the exact name for normal).

By Form they obviously fill your squad with players who are on top form but may not have the best rating.

By Overall Rating they fill your squad with players who are rated the best, but may not have the best form.

By "Normal" I'm not sure what they do, I think it's just a balance of form & rating.


I was just wondering which you guys would think is the best. I was thinking of filling my squad with the best players, based on Overall Rating, but then their form may not be great, therefore they might not perform as well as somebody who has a lower rating but great form.

Personally I choose it all myself, I don't play all my players in their main positions due to the way I have my formation. But my advice to you would be let the computer choose them for you based on player ability and then whoever isn't on good form you can replace with someone from the bench who is in good form and can play in that position.
