Gaming time consumed editing for those with busy lives.

Not sure Konami actually read these but if a rep does please could you consider those of us with other priorities in our lives?

I love playing PES and have done for many a year but with my kids, work and other commitments my gaming time has been drastically reduced and when I do get chance all I want to be able to do is bang the disc in and play a couple of ML matches but the amount of editing required to get the game even remotely official looking is unbearable.

One suggestion I could make in order to cut the editing time would be adding more options to the league editing, like the ability to edit the armband for the league thus avoiding editing the armband for home, away and goalie. the same could be done with the numbers and shirt text for names. They would obviously already be the right colour but the text style could be done once for every team in the league.

Another would be the ability to create templates for a certain strip style, like creating the Adidas template and then just the colour would need editing for WBA, Stoke or Sunderland. Goalkeepers also tend to wear a template of a kit in their own colour.

I used to pride myself in getting the badges correct and shirt sponsors but to be honest I just dont have time and I sometimes wonder whether it might be worth opting for Fifa where it is all done for you, even though the game is shit.

Pro Evo on a PC is most likely the best thing for the perfect Pro Evo but you need to buy a very good expensive gaming computer to do that which is annoying but I suppose its worth it in the end

FIFA is a poor game (Even though I still buy it every year like pes) and I wish ea concentrated on the actual gameplay rather than the silly ultimate team which I have no interest in it at all

I'm hoping that Ea start from scratch (gameplay) for the FIFA World Cup game as I love playing on the World Cup/Euro games as they feel more fun and exciting (I'm hoping its not like the euro 2012 dlc which was very poor with 16/17 licenses and hoping its a new game with a lot of licenses)

Pes is a very good game I know the lack of licenses let it down a lot but the gameplay is brilliant and they have the edit mode which is very important as its a must have in every pes game

I would buy both because you have 2 games to play on and if you get bored playing FIFA you can go onto pes and vice versa

Sorry for the long post :)

Pointless moaning because they can't do anything with the evil EA monopolising all the licences.

No I get that the licenses belong to EA but if you do an armband for Tottenhams captain in the league then why couldn't that apply to the Chelsea goalie as well.

I'm just now getting into a BAL and opted for the Eredivisie to start off with as the editing was basically done for me and I just aesthetically edited any fake teams I came across in europe. I turned down a move to the EPL even though I've done most of the editing because it was Stoke which i saw as a step down from Twente but after my contract ran out there they didn't offer me a renewal and all i had on the table was two offers from the Bundesliga. All ive edited there so far is league name and team names so I'm basically back to square one again now.

No worries.

I thought about getting both but cost aside, I really can't enjoy two similar games at the same times. Like Halo and C.O.D. too, I get the controls mixed up and all sorts.

The pc is best true, you don't have half the problems with option files and png's but unfortunately I only have an un-modded 360 so it's the hard way only.

Good point mate and I hope the Editing Mode is improved with less struggle for us.

Does the prequel data option apply to pes 14 and if so what exactly gets transferred?

my 13 kits are pretty accurate so I would only get 14 if I could just load them from my current game. kits. badges and sponsors.

No, it cannot be transferred at all because PES14 is effectively an entirely new game. That's why there were hardly any official faces at first, because Konami had to effectively create it all over again.

Great ideas stottmeister. Konami can do all of this, nothing you wrote interferes with or requires licensing.

Everything you wrote would just make it easier on the user and I would like to think Konami would want to do these things.

If only they could see this thread.
