getting better backroom staff?

It may be a daft question but i cant find anywhere how you upgrade ur backroom staff to get better scouts and coachs etc or is that something that just happens as your team improves over the course of time?

You can go into the menu that has negotiations can't remember of top of my head and you go down near the bottom and select it and change it. However you can only change it in August.

Yeah you can only do it in August and only if you have a fair amount of money. I think it costs £1M to upgrade your youth coach just a single level and something like £3M to upgrade your scout to a good level.

I think I'll upgrade my scout in my next per-season. I've played 4 seasons now and I still find it really hard to sign any decent players!! No one wants to sign for me

Thanks for the quick response ill have a look start of next season. I'm just finishing first season as fulham and got 22m in bank cos lost a few players in Jan window. I'm doing well though currently fifth. Need a few decent players then will use the rest for staff to get decent youth players etc. Anyone know a decent gk and cm id have a chance of signing

Abate is a great midfielder but not sure if you'll be able to afford or attract him yet?

I upgraded my Scout to level 5 in August, but I struggled to sign players still and ended up with just three bosmans, despite winning the D1 double.

Does the scout not take effect until the next window? Because paying £5m a year for his services and still not getting me any players from other clubs is pants.
