Gran Turismo 5 Time Trial

I've just downloaded earlier.

I can't drive. The best time I've got when using the tuned car is about 1:43:920 using the controller.


What's your best lap?

The graphics are nothing to awe about because the size is only 200 + MB.

My friends were playing it earlier. One of them was good, racking up a lot of wins and points. The other one was shit though. Hitting people and driving on the pebble roads and all that. I hate car games in general so I stayed away from it.

It is indeed.

It's a time trial in a Nissan of some sort, where you essentially just post your best times.

I think the fastest laps get invited to compete somewhere else, with the winners getting some lessons from a racing driver or something.

He wasn't exactly "hitting people" though, there was an invisible barrier. Also he was winning and earning money and cars. I just said points because the money wasn't a real currency, it was a bullshit currency like PES.

Downloaded it earlier. My fastest time is a 1:40 something. Still trying to get used to how the car handles on it (so much harder than GT4).

Sounds interesting, just a shame it isn't on the Xbox 360, but then again I've just got Forza 3 so I can't wait to delve into that after my exams and upcoming assignments. I can't see any racing game beating the quality of Gran Turismo 3 though, there was a special something about it, trying to complete an endurace race for about 2 hours to win the Polyphony F1 car...only to receive a Renault Clio Sport, repeat cycle numerous times. It was wonderful.
