Well hey whats up. New here. Its says I should say stuff about myself. Well I am an American. A New Yorker to be more specific. And I have always liked all sports, but being an American, baseball and (American) football always tended to be my faves growing up. During high school I started to watch other sports more and loved them all for what they were and respected the athleticism of them all, from golf to tennis to rugby. I always hated people who debate whats better than what. Just respect all the games right?
So a few years ago I worked at this camp and watched kids as a counselor and had a British co-counselor who was traveling abroad for volunteer/college credits. Him and this older Scottish guy who also travels around helping kids, they got me into footie a bit that summer. Im rubbish at the game but I tried learning. 3 years passed and I didn’t really play much since then. However the world cup has come around and the US team made a ruckus in the states during group play. Got us Americans all interested in matches and such and I was watching all of this world cup passion and its really really exciting, even watching matches after my country has already lost.
So a different more recent co worker of mine (who happens to be Scottish as well) and I start talking about football, and what do you know. I find myself greatly enjoying this game now, the most popular sport in the world. Everything about it….well except the diving…men don’t dive is what I say. Hhaha.
Anyways I downloaded both demos of the recent soccer games, found the PC version of FIFA to be utter crap and went out and got PES 2010. So that’s my introduction and now I have a question. I play baseball and (American) football on PC and both sports games have a main modding site, MVPmods for baseball and footballFreaks for (American) football. This always made it easy when navigating mods, plus they usually compiled them all into One big collective release each year.
What I am having a hard time with is sifting through the various patch sites I have found for PES and I want to know what is generally considered the main MOD site. And what are the Main official world cup mods that everyone uses. Along with the licensing mods since PES uses many fake teams and names. And do MLS patches exist as well. Just wondering if there is were official type mods that everyone uses for these things? Or if I have to search through all the few sites to find the best stuff.
