finally i could connect my xbox to my pc after several tries, and i make this simple guide to help people who wants to do the same:
you will need:
1. a pc or laptop (obviously)
2. an xbox with evolution x dashboard
3. a crossover ethernet cable to directly connect your xbox to your pc, or connect with two straight "regular" ethernet cables via a router.
4. flashfxp installed.
step 1: connect the xbox and the pc with your ethernet cable
step 2: turn on both the xbox and pc
step 3: go to configuration of your dashboard, setup the network
section as following
Setup Network = Yes
StaticIP = Yes
IP = 192.168.0.3
Subnetmask = 255.255.255.0
Defaultgateway = 192.168.0.1
DNS1 = 0
DNS2 = 0
also you have to setup the FTP section
Enable = Yes
Password = xbox
step 4: setup your computer, go to the icon on the bottom right of your pc (or in control panel, network connections) that has the direct connection to your xbox, go to properties. click in the internet protocole (TCP/IP) and click properties. highlight the option "Use following IP address" and enter this:
IP Address = 192.168.0.2
Subnetmask = 255.255.255.0
Defaultgateway = 192.168.0.1
DNS = (leave blank both)
step 5: run Flasfxp, push "F4", click "New Site", name it wathever you like (i name it xbox), for IP enter 192.168.0.3, the port must be 21, for username enter xbox, for password enter xbox, go to options and uncheck "use passive mode" (remove both check marks on "use passive mode"), click on apply and then in connect.
that's it you now must see the hdd of your xbox and now u can transfer any data between your pc and xbox!!! only drag and drop between them.
