There are many out there who say this game is scripted, I simply disbelieve this. Speed Merchants are there, if its scripted then why would people be able to use these players. If the game was scripted, it is to say the game has no variety but I have seen more creative goals than in real soccer, sometimes.

I lost 2-1 to a liverpool team who had all the past liverpools, he was able to score with Torres as a sub in the final minutes and it hurts badly. I want to say I lost not because he made good management but rather he was playing against me who had to wait 5 minutes to find an opponent. I believe he also scored an header with this player named Sterling, which I have never heard of. Both games I played I had 1-0 lead.

Then today it finally went my way, I won 2-1 despite giving up an lead. He was using Newcastle and had star players. He was finding his way thru my middle with Gerrard's and Schwsteigger, but he was unable to hold off my offense and in the final minutes I scored on a breakaway with Bale.

All I gotta say is that this game is fun, play it right and you will score more goals than give. After all, its the new years so its a new beginning for everyone.

The shittiest of cards, after all, is not the Speed Merchant card. It's the Long Range Drive card. I just participated in the International Club Competition with Juventus. Pwned them all and got myself into semifinals... just to meet this Barcelona freak who scored 3 goals using that fucking stupid shot with Messi/Villa from FAR AWAY. Buffon, never in his life, would concede such goals. Once again, Konami are fucking retarded.

Fucking game ruiner I'm so mad :-D I've beaten all kinds of opponents who were not abusing that card. Shit...

But it is more realistic than speed merchant and I actually don't find long range drive the worst as finesse shots are broken anyway

Ok abu, let me rephrase, they should FKN tone down that card. I believe you never conceded any of the goals I have. Hell, even one of my friends always abuses that card. I will record some goals for you and you'll find it worse than the speed merchant card. - See, speed merchants you can stop... yes, it's hard, but not impossible... with smart placement - L2, and X, you can definitely stop them. You can't stop those finese shots. Villa and Messi - both with a speed merchant card, are basically turning at 45* right away and shoot. That's it, end of the game.

And why do you all find that card unrealistic? I find it ok, i mean, speed merchants, there are players able to turn at 45* without losing speed - but I don't think they can do that non stop, and everytime. Also, I don't think every 69 rating player can possess that card (see mphela, baretto). If they fix this, I'm ok with it. Speed Merchants should be able to turn at 45* without losing speed, but not always. And definitely not in 4-5 combo turns!!!

Every game has its issues, but pes is definitely the best soccer game

it is always my first choice

they just need to fix the passing system

When you are fully out of breath, trust me you cannot turn 45 or 90 degrees without losing speed. You cannot even do it with full stamina as everything possesses sometype of momentum so this is truly unrealistic.

Remember David Villa's goal against Man U? That was a mid-range curler and Messi does it all the time. And it is not impossible to stop mid-range curls, it all depends on luck and power. They don't always go in as the keeper does regularly tend to save it and they are not all accurate into the corner as some go high and floaty and wide.
