Hardest Boss You've Ever Faced?

Discuss. Ive slammed my controllers and game boys so many times trying to defeat some enemies. Defeating them after 5 turns has to be one of the best feelings of a gamer.

Those Pokemon Elite 4 pissed me off a few times. Bowser on the very first Mario. Bison from Street Fighter and Goro from Mortal Kombat made me rethink how good I thought I was at the game. I was humbled by them lots of times.

I agree about the Elite 4, although even if I lost, I would consider it worth it, if I took my Gengar, and Hitmonlee tried to flying kick him... "Hitmonlee went straight through Gengar and injured himself"

As for the hardest boss, I never even get close to end of most games I've played, so I'd say the boss chap at the end of Assassin's Creed was the hardest... the easiest was the ending of Call of Duty 4.

Emerald and Ruby weapon on Final Fantasy VIII. Granted they weren't bosses you needed to defeat to beat the game but still they were near impossible enemies to defeat.

Metal Gear took me quite a few tries to defeat on Metal Gear Solid. That's the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

Am I the only person here who has never played Final Fantasy? I never saw what the fuss was about. And Kingdom Hearts

me neither. i'm not a fan of the turn based games, i liked the look of some of the moves when watching a mate play but just got bored if i tried.

this was until star wars KOTOR was released, with a subject i am a fan of i got into the whole- i'll hit you with this so you hit me with that.

i got mass effect thinking that i'd like it as it was quite similar but as it wasn't a subject i was into i got bored again

Mate if you liked the Pokemon games then Final Fantasy VIII is in a way a slightly more advanced Pokemon game.

Knights of the Old Republic is fantastic. No harder bosses than those in Ninja Gaiden, loads of trial and error.

One in particular which may not have been that hard was the Ratchet and Clank final boss. I must have spent months trying to defeat him, I had hardly any ammo where I had last saved my game. Cant even remember who he was.

The Elite Four on Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow was a pain in the ass, the same can't be said about the Gold/Silver versions though.

For me it has to be Sepiroth on both Kingdom Hearts, specially on the second one. I own both games since they came out and only recently I've managed to beat him on the first one :/

For an overall battle, the final battle in Dark Sun: Shattered Lands.

For an individual, possibly Omega Weapon in Final Fantasy VIII.

Wait...
Emerald Weapon and Ruby Weapon on FFVII were impossible. I think I remember one of the boss battles with Seymour on FFX giving me a lot of trouble aswell.

A friend of mine who had the walkthrough for the game did them both. He said you had to go on a shit load of side quests to get some materia and what not. He also had to have all his party to their max level and with their best weapons.

Hassle.

Yeah, there was a hell of a lot of secret stuff in them games, and it'd be ridiculously hard to get most of it without the walkthrough,

Recently, I got an emulator, and played it through on my PC, got all the secret stuff and whatnot, and still couldnt beat them:realmad:
