help - can't select to play as opposition in a league with friend

I like to play leagues with my friend, but cant seem to join a game when it is his team playing, can anyone help me

Oh... no... please tell me your kidding? I haven't played yet, but if they have taken it out I'm selling it. The whole point of Pro Evo is to enjoy with friends. It was annoying enough to not be able to select sides before the start of the game last year, but if you now can't select the opposition team in a league at all... well it's ridiculous.

I can indeed confirm that this game is shit and not worth owning. The original poster is correct, you can not select to play as the opposition team. This means you can't do a 2 player league with friends unless you expect them to sit for 10 minutes while you play the CPU. What's the point conami?

Oh crap, shit news. And to think I bought two brand new PS2 controllers for my PC just with that in mind (friendlies too, but it's not the same).

How can this be?? What the hell were they thinking? They take this out BUT they yet again neglect to include LAN multiplayer. So what can you do if you want to play against a friend, face to face? Have him bring his Wi-Fi laptop? It's just so stupid.

The fun factor of this version is sinking fast.
