Help Out an Old PES Geezer!

Hello, all.

I still play my old tried and trusted PES6, and I love editing my own PES. Just about every year, I consider switching my PES to a newer version, but I always end up sticking with old reliable. Well, now it's time once again to weigh the pros and cons of upgrading. So I've got a few (or a ton of) questions:

1. I only own my old PS2 (keep this in mind. Every question is only for the PS2 version), so I want to know if there is enough of a community these days for PS2 users, or has everybody else switched to next gen? If I buy a newer version, will I be able to find any good option files for it? Which PES do most of the PS2-people use? Is there a clear favorite PES among the fandom?

2. Editing. The old PES editor is so quick and simple to use. Is there a similar unofficial editor for the newer versions that allows easy swapping of teams, kits and such? And what about the game's own editor? Is it still as useful as the old one? Any new features, or anything missing?

3. Does the PS2 version of PES 2012 have all the same teams as the NG versions? How many playable clubs are there in total?

I'm sure I had other things to ask about, but these are the major questions. Any help will be appreciated, guys.

My advice? Get the PC version, it's less than £2 on a few sites, and it's a lot easier to edit. I personally think it plays a little better, too.

But you're right to stick with PES6, it's the greatest football game of all time.
